Welcome to Sloan Foster Photography

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, I loved taking photos growing up, if not posing for them since my father, grandfather and godmother all had a passion for photography. I have a collection of cameras dating back to the 1940’s demonstrating the influence photography has had in my family and my life.

While working on a project telling a story through music and pictures in mass media class in high school, it was then that my interest developed into a passion. Although it was not my first camera, the Canon that I got for graduation became my tool of choice for the next 10 years until the Canon Rebel Digital was released. Since then I have captured over 60,000 experiences through my lens. My composition and use of lighting, reflection and overall perspective is consistently demonstrated no matter what the subject. My vision comes from a place of intuition. I tell a story through photography, one you might not see. Some of it is my story, some of it oyur story, but a story of life none-the-less. My images, as we see, them are as I see them using no post-production. My photography shows a different perspective of what is real and perhaps helps us appreciate and capture a potential moment lost.
